Have you ever experienced this?

As a therapist or coach working with couples, you know how important it is to keep clients engaged between sessions.

But then there’s that familiar scene: the end of the session, the usual 2-3 assignments you’ve handed out a million times... and you know they’re probably feeling a little flat about it (if they even do it at all !).

Honestly, you’re not alone. So many therapists feel stuck trying to find fresh, impactful homework ideas that couples actually want to do—stuff that feels exciting and meaningful to them, rather than a chore.

That’s exactly why I’m putting together this one-hour training course.

I deeply believe in the importance of meaningful homework as an integral part of therapy. Think about learning a new language or playing an instrument—can real progress happen with just one lesson a week and no practice in between?

Likely not. It’s the consistent practice between lessons that makes all the difference. The same principle applies to couples therapy: practicing between sessions can inspire deeper connection and meaningful change.

In this one-hour recorded replay, we’ll explore how to revitalise your approach to homework in, including:

  • The importance of meaningful, well-chosen homework to inspire lasting change.
  • The 3 Pillars of Homework and 3 focused strategies: learning when and how to introduce various types of assignments to meet each couple’s unique needs.
  • 5 key points for working with client resistance to keep couples actively participating.

You'll walk away with 25 new, creative ideas to help couples build joy, intimacy, and connection.

"It was an hour of CPD that was the extremely useful and indeed should be an essential part of Imago trainings. I’ve been a certified Imago therapist for almost 14 years and though I have many hours of experience working with couples, this training and knowledge was invaluable. So glad I signed up!"
